YOU HAVE ONE MONTH TO GROW YOUR MOUSTACHE, NO LESS.

This is the single most important rule for this event. That means if you are participating you must hide anything sharp in your house 4 weeks prior to the crawl. You can grow whatever you like in those four weeks.(i.e. beard, goatee, solo moustache).

AT THE END OF THE 4 WEEKS YOU MUST SHAVE EVERYTHING BUT YOUR MOUSTACHE.

The crawl is very real and is not to be trivialized by fake moustaches or those that do not embody to spirit of the lip tickler.

THE MOUSTACHE IS NOT TO BE GROWN ON THE FACE BELOW THE LOWER LIP.

Handlebars must be part of the moustache and hang appropriately. The moustache should not extend past the eye line moving away from the center of the face.

THERE MUST BE A DISCONNECTION BETWEEN SIDEBURNS AND THE MOUSTACHE.

Sideburns must not extend past the eyeline moving toward the center of the face or below the earlobe.
